A Message from our President

Congregation Or Chadash was established in 2003 with the goal of providing a Conservative presence in Northeast Scottsdale. We are pleased that in early 2006, we surpassed 100 families and continue to grow. There are a variety of reasons why people join a synagogue: For some, it is a place to go to weekly services, while for others; it’s to celebrate the High Holidays. Some families join to meet and get to know other Jewish families in Scottsdale while still others join want to be involved in educational and programming activities. Whatever your reason might be, we sincerely hope that Congregation Or Chadash offers what you are looking for.

The root of our evolving vision is that every individual is encouraged to participate and to become an integral part of congregational life. Furthermore, we are dedicated to creating a Congregation that provides for the varied needs of its multi-generational membership. As such, we strive for innovative formal and informal education programming, meaningful social action projects, including active support for Israel, and inspirational Shabbat and holiday observances. Congregation Or Chadash also offers a variety of social activities for all of our members.

It is my sincere hope that you view Congregation Or Chadash as a community where you can be an important contributor to our active and growing membership. As partners, we will continue to fulfill that initial vision while working to create a new and even more exciting vision for the future.
