We’re now offering a variety of Shabbat Services on alternating weeks during each month. Check our services schedule below for times and dates, then join us for inspirational Shabbat celebrations.

Traditional Services:  Our traditional Friday Evening Shabbat Service begins at 7:30 PM and is followed by an Oneg Shabbat. On Saturday morning, we begin at 9:30 AM; Kiddush follows services. We will be happy to help you mark a special occasion with an aliyah or with an opportunity to participate in the service in some other way.  Many portions of these services are lay led, and we encourage participation by those attending the service. On the third Shabbat of each month, our traditional Saturday morning service features an extended dvar Torah and study session in place of a traditional Torah reading.

Young Family Services:  The Friday Evening service starts at 5:45 PM and the Saturday morning service at 10:00 AM. Both of these services are built specifically for pre-school age children, with a special Oneg or Kiddush that includes kid-friendly foods such as pizza. We encourage families to come with young children so that they may be introduced to the songs, rituals and joy of Shabbat.

Shabbat Cafe (New):  A new way to welcome Shabbat that is relaxing, inspiring, and offers more time to spend with family and friends. Please join us as we gather café’-style for an abbreviated Friday night service, a brief study session with Rabbi Damsky, and then plenty of time for a café-coffees and a special dessert. The service will start at 7:30 pm.

MUSIC NIGHT AT THE LIGHT! Toe-Tappin’ Music, Rockin’ Shabbat! Our regular OC Shabbat service, starting at 7:30 PM with musical accompaniment. Musician Yonatan Miller (our favorite fiddler) and Rabbi Damsky lead a service filled with guitar, percussion, clarinet, and singing galore. A fun, uplifting and engaging evening, perfect for all ages. Clap hands, enjoy the music, join family & friends as we joyfully welcome Shabbat.
